• The Information Resources Analyst II serves as a liaison between the Information Resources Department and the Business Units (Operations, Maintenance, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, etc.). The position provides systems support and analysis by leveraging technology solutions to meet the needs of the Business Units and users of the Business Units' information systems.

• BSc. in Computer Science, Information Technology and Systems Management or equivalent. • One (1) year of training and experience in Information Resources and interfacing with relevant Business Units (Operations, Maintenance, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, etc.). • Experience in a Power Generation/Energy Sector environment is an asset. • Knowledge of networks (LAN/WAN) and the Windows operating environments, demonstrated by relevant industry certification (CCNA, MCP, CNA, etc.). • Experience in the application/technology systems related to the PowerGen Business Units, such as Maximo, Kronos, Epicor, SQL, Access Control, etc. • Knowledge of administering business intelligence platforms such as PowerBI and automation workflows such as Power Automate, and digitalization platforms that facilitate KPI dashboard and management reporting. • Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity for IT and OT systems. • Knowledge of web technologies, including Internet and intranet platforms such as Sharepoint, which incorporates knowledge management, document management, and workflow. • Knowledge of enterprise CCTV, access control, and security systems. • Understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices. • Understanding of IT security principles and applications. • Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques. • Basic knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices. • Knowledge of virtual infrastructures with VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V.

• Systems Management: Leverage all existing systems to gain the maximum utility out of each information systems component, both individually and as an integrated system. Develop and perform periodic testing of system components to verify proper functioning. Repair or oversee the repair of failed components. Provide support for specific end-user applications. Provide diagnosis and follow-up for resolution of problems. • Systems Training: Assist in the maintenance and implementation of specialized training systems as it relates to the Business Unit (Maximo, Kronos, Epicor, etc.) as required. Provide and develop the needed support required on all systems to reduce dependence on outside vendors. Develop and implement training and periodic updates to keep users current. • Database Development and Management: Assist in the development of databases as necessary for the discharge of the Business Unit functions. Ensure that these are maintained in a manner that allows for efficient retrieval of information, effective reporting, and analysis. • Systems Consulting: Establish and maintain intra-corporate relationships to identify innovative ways that the systems can provide added value to the Company, and identify trends and best practices that can be implemented at the Company. • Establish and maintain Industry relationships to identify relevant digital transformation emerging technologies and assess their usefulness and impact on the Company. • Systems Engineering: Assist in establishing common system platforms that permit system networking using existing Company Infrastructure without compromising system security. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of data centres, network servers, network clients, networking equipment, storage and backup systems, and other supporting infrastructural devices. Assist in the implementation of enterprise cybersecurity for both IT and OT systems to maintain their confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Administer business intelligence platforms, such as PowerBI along with Power Automate, as part of a digitalization/digital transformation portfolio that includes KPI dashboards and management reporting tools. • Project Management: Assist in the planning, design, evaluation, and installation of any new systems. Also, establish system quality standards for installation and handover to end-users. • Budgeting: Assist in the budgeting process of projects as well as management of the said budgets. • Reporting: Assist with the preparation of assigned reports and analyses with recommendations for action to be initiated by higher levels and linked to corporate objectives. • Asset Management: Assist in managing the available resources to satisfactorily fulfill the position's and the Company's performance objectives. • Health, Safety & Environment: Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and configuration of CCTV and Access Control Systems. Support the organization’s HSSE efforts by demonstrating a commitment to and compliance with HSSE policies, procedures, safety rules, and guidelines, including (but not limited to): - reporting of near misses; assisting with investigations and audits; actively participating in training, committees, and related events; managing contractors such that the likelihood of incidents are minimized, etc.
